CAIPS NOTES
CAIPS refers to the Computer Assisted migration Processing System which is an online system. In this system all the chronicles of visa applications submitted with the migration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) are retained and managed by the Canadian visa offices.
The information of the applicant applying for the visa is stored in CAIPS notes also known as e-notes. The data precisely includes the details of the location where the visa application was submitted, analyzed and assessed with the necessary remarks by the visa officers with respect to relevant application. However, the CAIPS has now been substituted by Global Case Management System (GCMS).
